May 14, 2019I am an 80's baby, born in 1985, so I am a 90's kid. As you may know, times have changed quite a bit. I remember back in the day there were many rules and a lot of behaviors that were considered acceptable and unacceptable. I remember not being able to join in on adult conversations and being told to leave the room. I also remember the famous, "do not speak until you are spoken to." I was raised to respect all adults no matter what the situation, back then, adults were always right. I also remember having the upmost respect for my parents and if I got out of line, I would get spanked and quickly learn my lesson to never do that again. I feared my parents because I respected them. Family |
